MI Prayer Intentions for 2008
Praying with the Immaculata!

UNITE WITH MI MEMBERS in daily renewal of your Marian consecration while petitioning the intercession of the Immaculata, month by month, throughout 2008.
Daily Renewal of Total Consecration
Immaculata, Queen and Mother of the Church, I renew
my consecration to you this day and for always, so that
you may use me for the coming of the Kingdom of Jesus
in the whole world. To this end I offer you all my prayers,
actions and sacrifices of this day.
Daily Miraculous Medal Prayer of St. Maximilian
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have
recourse to you, and for all those who do not have
recourse to you, especially the enemies of the Church
and those recommended to you.
Immaculata, please intercede . . .
JANUARY
That as the Mother of God, you open our eyes to the
daily experience of the Lord’s presence so we may better
live in His service.
FEBRUARY
That your words to Bernadette, "I am the Immaculate
Conception," remind us that our Christian vocation is
to live in charity and to be holy and chaste in our state
in life.
MARCH
That your "yes" be our strength and model in placing
ourselves at the service of God and our neighbor in the
joy of Christ’s Resurrection.
APRIL
That God’s love for you may remind us of His great
love for us in Jesus, and lead us to a deeper respect for
human life and dignity.
MAY
That all may respond to your desire to be our loving
mother so that you may form each of us in the Holy Spirit.
JUNE
That the ardent love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus reach
all people and all generations and through the intercession
of the Immaculata may we be healed of our
wounds of soul and body.
JULY
That you sustain Christ’s body, the Church, so it may
bring all men and women to Christ by communicating
to the world the Divine mysteries of salvation.
AUGUST
That our time of leisure may bring rest to our bodies
and souls and guided by you, as our mother and
teacher, we may focus our lives more intensely on God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
SEPTEMBER
That as the Mother of Sorrows, you may give us
from the foot of the Cross the strength and love to
show all Christians how to be true witnesses of the
power of the Cross.
OCTOBER
That our devotion to the Holy Rosary and the intercession
of the saints will lead us to a greater understanding
of our baptismal call to live the life of the Blessed
Trinity more authentically.
NOVEMBER
That our remembrance of the faithful departed and our
celebration of the Communion of Saints may strenghten
us, the Church militant in living and sharing our hope
of eternal life.
DECEMBER
That united with you our Advent spirit of expectation
may prepare us to celebrate the birth of the Savior with
profound and humble joy.
Pope Benedict XVI
"The fiat of Mary, the word of her heart, has changed the
history of the world, because it brought the Savior into
the world-because, thanks to her YES, God could
become man in our world and remains so for all time."
St. Maximilian Kolbe
"Mary is the most perfect and most holy work of God, for
as St. Bonaventure said, ‘God can create a greater and
more perfect world, but He cannot exalt a creature to
higher dignity than that to which he exalted Mary.’"
